The BL-900 violin is designed specifically for soloists under the supervision of our chief luthier. It is meticulously crafted with exceptional materials and techniques, incorporating Italian varnish of different antique styles to create a one-of-a-kind artistic masterpiece. The E string produces a penetrating and clear sound, even in high positions. The A and D strings are emotive and lyrical with clear harmonics, while the G string has a rich and resonant voice that provides ample support in high positions. As a solo instrument, it performs effortlessly with works ranging from Antonio Vivaldi to Niccolò Paganini.
Its fast response and comfortable playability offer infinite possibilities for interpretation to musicians. The four strings have an even tone, mature sound, and excellent projection, which are the distinguishing features of this violin. Due to our strict requirements for wood sourcing and drying years, we produce no more than five BL-900 violins each year.
The BL-900 series violins are copies of Guarneri 1743 “II Cannone”, Guarneri 1742 “Lord Wilton” and Stradivarius 1716 “Messiah”.
